About the Game
The Short Ride game is a bloody and fun bike riding game. In this episode, you must help the hero to cycle around and avoid the various dangerous objects that he comes across. The side-scrolling gameplay is fun and bloody. If you get knocked by an object, you can loose limbs and blood will fly everywhere!
There are many different levels to play through and each one presents a different challenge and a new set of obstacles. Can you complete this simple short ride and come out alive?
The great thing about it is that you can see if you are making progress because of the level selection screen. If you complete a level, it will be unlocked in the next one.
Objective
Now, this really is an exciting game! You play as a little boy on his bike and your objective is to get to the end of each level without falling off or getting hit by any obstacles that are out there. It's pretty simple at first, but it definitely gets more difficult as you progress. The controls are easy to use; all you have to do is move the bike with your left and right arrow keys.
One important thing to note is that you can't just speed through the levels. You actually have to pay attention to what's going on and figure out the best way to get through. So be aware of things like the speed bumps and avoid them (this also applies to things like puddles, hay bails, etc.)
Now this game is actually pretty fun after you realize that it's not just about trying to beat your previous score but actually figuring out how to pass each level without dying. It took me a little while to get the hang of it, but after a few tries, I was able to make it through the first few levels.
The graphics are really good and the gameplay is smooth, so if you're looking for a fun and challenging game to play, I definitely recommend checking out Short Ride!
